1. Install the app

From the Webflow Marketplace, search for SI Instagram Feed and click Install. Choose the site you want to add it to — you can install it on as many sites as you like, on either the Webflow free or paid plan.

2. Authorize the site & open the app

Webflow will ask you to authorize the site connection — approve it, then open your site in the Designer. Find SI Instagram Feed in the Apps panel and open it to land on its Dashboard.

3. Connect your Instagram account

On the Dashboard, click Connect Instagram and sign in with the account you want to pull posts from. Once connected, its profile photo and username appear on the card, ready for building widgets.

4. Create a widget

Under Instagram Widgets, click Create widget. This opens the widget editor with a fresh widget pulling from your connected account. Each widget is independent, so you can build several feeds for different pages if you're on Pro.

5. Customize layout, style & posts

The editor is split into a settings panel on the left and a live preview on the right, so every change reflects instantly before you publish anything to your site.

Layout:
Choose a grid, collage, or slider arrangement, and set columns, spacing and corner style and other settings.
Posts: Choose to show all, posts or only reels, autoplay video, post ratio and other settings.

6. Add the widget to your site

Back on the Dashboard, click Add to theme next to the widget you built. Confirming this does two things automatically — it registers the feed script in your site's global custom code, and adds the SI Instagram Feed Widget component to your component library so it's ready to drop onto any page.

7. Place the widget on a page & publish

Switch to the Designer canvas, open the Add panel, and drag SI Instagram Feed Widget from your saved components onto the page. Resize it like any other element, then click Publish — visitors on the live site see the feed render with hover, click-through, and modal or slider behavior exactly as set in the editor.

8. Manage widgets day-to-day

Use the⋮ menu on any widget row to Edit its settings, Rename it, or Delete it. Editing reopens the same live-preview editor from step 5 — changes apply to the component already placed on your pages without any re-publishing step in the app itself (you still publish the site in Webflow to push the change live).

9. Manage Instagram accounts

On Pro, connect up to three Instagram accounts from the Accounts page and assign a different one to each widget. Disconnect an account at any time and reconnect a new one whenever needed.

10. Reauthorization

If we update the required access scopes or token expired, reauthorization may be required to receive the latest app updates. When this happens, a “Reauthorize Now” banner will appear in your Dashboard. Simply click it and re-approve the requested access to get the latest updates.

11. Synchronization schedule

New posts, edited captions, and deletions on Instagram flow into your widgets on a fixed schedule — you don't need to open the app or click anything for it to happen.

Free plan
Every 24h

Daily auto-sync keeps the feed reasonably fresh for standard use.

Pro plan
Every 1h

Hourly auto-sync, for sites that post frequently and want the feed to keep pace.

A sync pulls the latest posts for each connected account and refreshes what every widget built from it shows — there's no per-widget "refresh" button, and a lapsed sync.

12. Plan limits

Upgrade or cancel anytime from Dashboard → My Billing; cancelling keeps Pro features active until the end of the current billing period.

13. Uninstall & cleanup

Remove the script before uninstalling the app, so nothing is left behind on your published site.

On the Dashboard, click Remove Script and confirm. This stops the feed from working on your site and pulls the script from global custom code.

Only after that, uninstall the app from Webflow's app management screen.
